In the coming week, the Saarland police will carry out comprehensive speed controls on several heavily frequented roads and highways. The pace measurements take place between Monday, March 10th and Sunday, March 16, 2025, in various critical places based at accidents. Drivers should set themselves on controls on routes such as the B 269 between Dillingen and Tholey and on several sections of the BAB 8 motorway.

In particular, controls are mentioned before the state border with Luxembourg and near Merzig. Other checkpoints are distributed on the BAB 6, B 51 and L 152. Important to note: In addition to the announced bodies, the police can also carry out speed measurements in other places. The announced controls could be omitted for technical reasons.
