Preparations for the Bad Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt, the largest wine festival in the world, are in full swing. This year, the popular event will take place on two weekends: from September 12th to 16th and from September 19th to 22nd, 2025. Since the railway line between Bad Dürkheim and Deidesheim is closed until the end of the year, extensive measures are being taken to provide those arriving with a comfortable journey.

Avoid parking stress

Anyone who wants to avoid the stress of looking for a parking space and traffic jams is well served by public transport. Numerous visitors are expected at the event, which attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year. One of the highlights of the event is the tapping of the barrel, which is always celebrated at the press conference at the Vigilienturm, with numerous prominent personalities on site.

On the fireworks days, September 16th and 22nd, 2025, there will even be special rides at 11:31 p.m. and 11:09 p.m. so that guests can get home safely after the fireworks.
