Mayor Letz opens 73rd holiday village with great offers!
In Bad Kreuznach, the summer holidays ring in with colorful activities and lots of fun for the children. The mayor, who personally found out about the city's youth development holiday village offering, expressed his support with a generous donation in the form of ice cream and autographs for the young participants. This year the holiday village is taking place for the 73rd time and offers an exciting time full of adventures and creative projects from July 7th to 25th, 2025.
The selection of activities in the holiday village is diverse and ranges from a swimming course in the salt pool to weaving mini carpets to exciting media projects. Children have the opportunity to check in daily in open projects - from dance and theater to yoga, creative workshops and even water fights. These offers are also open to the 145 participants who come from the city and district of Bad Kreuznach.
A look at the general conditions
The holiday village is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is managed by a dedicated team of 22 carers. The most popular activities are clearly the Lego robots, which are used for remote-controlled races. This ensures a high level of excitement and teamwork among the children.
The participation fee for the outskirts recreation includes not only the cost of meals, which includes a delicious lunch as well as snacks and drinks, but also all materials for the projects and entrance fees for small excursions. Registration for the holiday village was already possible on May 10, 2025, and the place of registration is the youth and cooperation center “Die Mühle”. If you have any questions, you can contact Laura Schäfer directly on 0671 – 8880910034.
Additional leisure activities
There are also many other leisure activities for children and young people during the summer holidays, as can be found on the Bad Kreuznach family network website. The offers include forest expeditions and climbing tours and take place in various countries such as Germany, France and Croatia. An overview of the leisure activities can be found in the leisure brochure “Let’s Go”, which the district youth association published together with the city and district youth funding agency.
Not only is the holiday village a hit in Bad Kreuznach, but also the variety of activities that are offered especially for the summer holidays. It will be exciting to see how much joy and new experiences the children will gain in the coming weeks. If you are looking for further leisure activities, you will find what you are looking for on the websites of the Bad Kreuznach district or the Kirner Land municipality.
