Birkenfelder Straße, 55765 Birkenfeld, Deutschland - On Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, the Morbach police discovered a tragic discovery at around 8 a.m.: a dead, gathered domestic cat was found on Birkenfelder Strasse, about 50 meters behind the town sign. The police removed the animal from the road and took it off in the green strip.

Although no external injuries were seen on the cat, everything indicates that it may have been approached. The police therefore call up concerned cat owners to report if they miss their cat in the coming days. To facilitate identification, the cat's photographs are available.
