Vandalism shock in Lingenfeld: Cross-destroyed the corridor cross!

In the night from Friday to Saturday there was a shocking act of destruction in Lingenfeld: unknown vandals gained access to an old corridor cross in one field and led a trace of devastation. They deliberately screwed off the metal reinforcements and simply threw the cross from its base!

The Germersheim police are now investigating and urgently looking for witnesses. Anyone who has information about the perpetrators is asked to report to pigermersheim@polizei.rlp.de on 07274/985-0 or by email. This brazen offense against the historical relic raises questions and causes horror in the community.
