E-bike driver escapes after an accident with a pedestrian in Spangdahlem!

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident occurred on the economic route between the passenger car park in Spangdahlem and Gransdorf at 2:15 p.m. An e-bike driver collided with a pedestrian and both plunged to the ground. But while the injured pedestrian urgently had to be treated in the hospital, the e-bike driver simply left her and fled towards Gransdorf.

The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the fleeting driver. This is estimated at about 60-75 years and wore a dark helmet as well as sunglasses and a red and white shirt. The incident alerted the citizens and raises questions about security and responsibility in road traffic.
