On Saturday afternoon, March 29, there was a serious bicycle accident around 2:35 p.m. on Horstmarer Straße, height house number 22. A 24-year-old woman from Laer was on the bike path towards Hagenbach when she suddenly lost control of her bike and fell.

The tragic incident led to serious injuries to the young woman, who immediately had to be transported to a clinic with an ambulance. The Steinfurt police are now investigating the exact causes of the accident.
