ATM in Hagenbach attacked - perpetrators escape with station wagon!

In the early morning hours of February 6, 2025, around 5:26 a.m., there was a dramatic incident in Ludwigstrasse in Hagenbach. Unknown perpetrators who were masked and dressed in dark tried to break open a mobile ATM. Before the eyes of numerous witnesses, the three men tried to crack the device with a tool. But when they noticed that they were observed, they took the escape in a striking bright station wagon with a French license plate towards the border.

Despite intensive search measures, the suspects could not be localized. The ATM was slightly damaged during the incident. The investigation continues and the police are asking for information from the population. Anyone who has relevant information should report immediately.
