In the early Thursday morning, February 6, 2025, unknown perpetrators tried to break up a mobile ATM on Ludwigstrasse in Hagenbach. The Rheinpfalz police immediately started investigating after information on a planned explosive attack. Experts from the State Criminal Police Office came to examine the crime scene for the remains of explosives.
Fortunately, there were no appearance of explosives, which reduced the fears. The barriers around the machine were lifted again around 10 a.m. and the situation could be quickly normalized. The investigation according to the perpetrators continues to run in full swing.| Details | |
