In a remarkable police operation in downtown Oldenburg, a 29-year-old was arrested as a suspected shoplifter. The police were alerted on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. by an employee of a shop who reported theft. The suspect was not unknown, had caused a sensation in similar cases in the past.

The patrol officials found the man's car with Hamburg license plates and discovered an alarming large amount of goods inside. When the vehicle was searched, the police came across several bags full of articles that clearly came from other shoplifting stories. In total, thiefs worth over 300 euros was ensured, which could also be directly assigned to a business. The man was temporarily arrested at the order of the Oldenburg public prosecutor.
