Stolen excavator in Kaiserslautern: Police hold suspects!

In a spectacular police operation, a stolen excavator worth almost 40,000 euros in Kaiserslautern was secured. The excavator, which was originally rented in the Westerwald district, had disappeared without a trace. The owner alerted the police, which led to an intensive search.

Thanks to the faster measures of the officials, the heavy work equipment could be discovered on a transport trailer that was ready to be transported abroad. Four suspects were arrested in connection with the theft during the check. All suspects were dealt with in the police station, while the investigation continued. The excavator has now been returned to its lawful owner.
