Aggressive patient: Police stops dangerous drivers in Koblenz
On Wednesday evening, February 26, 2025, the Koblenz police were called for a dramatic incident in the Evangelical Abbey in Johannes-Müller-Straße. A 24-year-old patient had aggressively left the treatment room in the middle of a surgical intervention and tried to get into the car despite sedatives.
The officers met the treating doctor on site who urged to warn: it was extremely dangerous if the patient reaches behind the wheel under the influence of medication. When the man defended himself against the search for his vehicle key, he was fixed and detained by his colleagues. A criminal complaint against him was reimbursed for resistance to enforcement officers, while his car key was prevented.
