Wine, music and help: charity event for children with cancer in Ingelheim!

In the coming days, a very special charity event will take place in Ingelheim - the local charity wine tasting, which not only promises a taste experience, but also serves an excellent cause. On Friday, June 20th, all wine lovers are welcome to the Winzerkeller, Binger Straße 16, from 6:30 p.m. to raise their glasses from 7 p.m. and at the same time help children with cancer and those in need in Rhineland-Palatinate. All proceeds go to the “Pre-Tour of Hope” association, which is dedicated to this important task Mercuryist reported.

The event will be of high quality, with an exclusive wine tasting, complemented by delicious snack plates and the musical sounds of Sarah Röhl. The reigning Rhine-Hessian wine queen Anna-Lena Baum is responsible for the charming program, supported by other wine majesties, including the German wine queen Charlotte Weihl and the German wine princess Julia Lambrich. The culinary offer comes from the popular restaurant “Engler’s” and promises to round off the festive atmosphere.

A raffle for a good cause

A special highlight will be the “Majestic Tombola”, in which attractive prizes await – including a surprise prize sponsored by Mainz 05. The event is organized by Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) in collaboration with Juliane Schäfer, a former Rheinhessen wine queen and German wine princess.

But the charity wine tasting is only part of the larger “Tour of Hope” initiative. This successful event has established itself as a fixture over the years. Under the umbrella of this tour, a strong community has formed that is passionate about helping children with cancer. Jürgen Grünwald, the organizer of the VOR-TOUR, emphasizes the emotional anchoring of the tour in the region, which grew from a simple idea: cycling to the prologue of the “Tour of Hope” in Giessen. Today around 100 cyclists take part in this PRE-TOUR and raise significant amounts of donations for the good cause before-tour-of-hope shows.

Help for children in need

The mission of the “Tour of Hope” is to raise as many donations as possible for children with cancer and those in need of help. The projects aim to not only support cancer research, but also to develop new treatment options. In addition, the help goes into the nursing and psychosocial care of the affected children as well as into the support of grieving children of parents with cancer, as shown on the page Westerwald Wood Days described.

With an enjoyable evening and a strong community, every participant contributes significantly to ensuring that these important goals can be achieved. Come along, enjoy the evening and support children in need!
