A 33-year-old man from Neustadt an der Weinstrasse was stopped by the police on January 28, 2025 at 11:30 p.m. during a traffic control in Landwehrstrasse. There were striking signs that indicated an influence by drugs. A preliminary test confirmed the intake of THC, the psychoactive part of cannabis.

The police took a blood test from the driver and also secured his e-scooter. Now the man has to expect an administrative offense procedure, while the driver's license office is informed about the incident.
