Copper-Glow in Neustadt: Escape the perpetrator on e-scooter!

In the early morning of February 13, 2025, the police Neustadt/Weinstraße was called after a witness reported that he had seen a man on an electroscooter who wore bags full of stolen copper cables. Despite the surrounding search, the emergency services were unsuccessful. However, the police found a bag with copper cables and a flashlight on a nearby construction site in Kurpfalzstrasse.

The construction fence had been violently opened with a steel chain. The perpetrator sought is described as about 170 cm tall, thin and dressed with gray jogging pants.
