On Friday evening, February 7th, four men from the Schwalm-Eder district with a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old came into a dispute over money debt in Neustadt. The four asked the two younger men to get into the car. The 17-year-old informed his mother, hoping to get the debts back with her help. At an agreed meeting point, however, alarmed police patrols were waiting for the group. The four men were temporarily arrested at 9:25 p.m. It was only later that it turned out that they were suspected of coercion. After completing the police measures, they were released again.

In another message, a large lettering with a blue color was discovered on the pedestrian bridge in Neustadt. Witnesses reported the smearing on Tuesday, February 11th, around 3 p.m. The damage is estimated at around 200 euros. The state security is investigating suspected sedition and is looking for witnesses. In addition, an unknown driver touched a gray Audi e-tron at the Kaufland car park and caused damage of around 5,000 euros before removing the scene of the accident. The police are also looking for witnesses.
