Vandalism in the Mainz Neustadt: Cars badly damaged!

In the night from March 24 to March 25, 2025, a parked vehicle was deliberately damaged on Rotterdamer Platz in the Neustadt Mainz. Unknown perpetrators gained access to an underground car park of an apartment building and left devastation: several slices of the victim's car broke.

When the owner entered the underground car park on Tuesday morning, the sight of his demolished vehicle hit him like a blow. Whether objects have also been stolen is still the subject of the ongoing investigations by the police. The search for the perpetrators has started and those affected are very concerned about their safety in the neighborhood.
