The subject of hit-and-run accidents is a recurring problem in Germany. According to a study by Statista Between 2009 and 2024, the fitness to drive register recorded an alarming number of entries for hit-and-run accidents. A sad trend that affects safety on our roads and should also raise awareness among road users.

While the police are making great efforts to clarify the circumstances of the two accidents, it remains to be hoped that such incidents are a thing of the past and that we can count on safer roads. So stay alert and always be aware of your surroundings - this could not only benefit you, but others too.
