Beinersheim calls for the dirt-way day: Together for a clean future!

The local community of Beinersheim calls for participation in the dirt-path day, which will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025. In an appeal to the citizens, Mayor Ken Stutzmann (SPD) encourages everyone to participate in the joint garbage collection campaign. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot on Rudolf-Harbig-Straße.

participants are stopped, gloves, sturdy shoes and, if available, bring gripping tools with you. At the end of the campaign, a snack bar is planned, which is offered to the helpers as a thank you for their commitment. In addition to collecting garbage, there is also the possibility to take further measures to beautify the community, such as the painting of play equipment or planting green areas. If you are interested, you can contact the building yard on 0174 3104701 to receive further information and register.

Review of previous actions

The goal of the action was not only to collect garbage, but also to set an example of environmental protection. A total of over 30 sacks of garbage, including schnapps bottles, cigarette packaging and even car tires, were collected. The high number of cigarette bumblebees, which were found on paths, meadows and on the banks of the Rhine, was particularly striking. The garbage collection ended at 1 p.m. and the volunteers were invited to coffee or tea by Diehl’s Hotel to complete the day.

commitment to the environment

Such actions are part of a greater commitment to climate protection that attracts many people. In addition to the garbage collection campaign, many organizations have launched projects that offer volunteers the opportunity to actively get involved in environmental protection. The activities in these projects include the awareness of the population through courses and lectures, whose issues range from energy supply to recycling to biodiversity.

It is important that events such as the dirty path day are supported in order to raise awareness of environmental issues and increase the quality of life on site. By working together and volunteers, they make a decisive contribution to protecting nature and ensuring a clean environment. From the local communities to national initiatives, the goal always remains the same: a sustainable and clean environment for future generations.
