On Tuesday evening at 10:34 p.m., a spectacular accident occurred on the L406 near Schafhausen. A 53-year-old driver from Wendelsheim drove into the roundabout at excessive speed and noticed him much too late. Despite a violent braking, his car crashed with full force against the roundwall of the roundabout.

The driver was incredible and remained unharmed, but his vehicle was totally damaged by the impact and had to be towed. The material damage amounts to around 1,000 euros. A simple driving error had fatal consequences, you could say!
