19-year-old drifts after drug use: the police intervene!

On the evening of March 6, 2025, around 9:15 p.m., the police in Herxheim stopped a 19-year-old Mercedes driver who caught the eye while drifting on Offenbacher Strasse. The patrol of the Landau police inspection was originally on site for another reason, but became aware of the young driver's striking driving behavior.

The subsequent traffic control quickly showed that the driver may have been under the influence of drugs. A preliminary test confirmed the suspicion: he reacted positively to THC. The police prohibited him from continuing and taking a blood sample. Now the 19-year-old is faced with criminal proceedings for drunkenness in traffic-the driver's license office was also informed about the incident.
