A special sloth transport box was made for the trip, which was equipped with a horizontal branch on which Frieda could hold on during transportation.

After her arrival, Frieda explored her new home, which she shares with the Liszstaffen family and the sloth man Carlo. Slots are known for their leisurely lifestyle and only reach top speeds of up to 1 km/h, which helps them to escape predators. Your natural diet mainly consists of leaves that provide little energy, which leads to a slow metabolism. Interestingly, sloths sleep for up to 16 hours a day and have a variable body temperature between 30 and 34 ° C. They are predominantly loner and are only looking for the proximity of other animals for mating.

In order to observe the nocturnal activities of Carlo and Frieda, a camera was installed in the sloth system.
