On Tuesday afternoon, May 13th, a serious traffic accident occurred on Landesstraße 147 in Windeck around 2:00 p.m. A 22-year-old motorcyclist from Rhineland-Palatinate was injured on a strip of green, while his damaged motorcycle, a Suzuki sports machine, was lying on the road. He was already taken care of by first aiders.

The 68-year-old driver of a Mercedes combination from Waldbröl described that a white van or minibus turned from basalt road to the L147. In order to avoid a collision with this vehicle, he evaded on the opposite lane, but overlooked the oncoming motorcyclist. There was no touch with the white vehicle.
