Young people endanger traffic: glasses thrown on cars in Merzig!

At around 6:40 p.m., witnesses observed how three young people between the ages of 14 and 16 threw mini glass bottles, also known as "Klopfer", on passing vehicles. A car was hit while another vehicle was narrowly missed. A motorcyclist had to dodge at the last minute to avoid a collision.

The perpetrators escaped before the police arrived by jumping into an incoming train. The police in Merzig are now looking for witnesses and victims who have information about the identity of the young people. Information is urgently desired on 06861/7040.
