Five days of enjoyment: WND JAZZ Festival brings Europe's stars to St. Wendel!
Things will get really jazzy again in St. Wendel in September! The renowned jazz festival WND JAZZ will take place from September 6th to 7th and 12th to 14th, 2025. Over five days, well-known artists from all over Europe will bring the stages to life. The festival has made a name for itself, and not without reason: the focus this year is on the voices that will delight the audience with their diversity.
The line-up is impressive: among others, the Spanish singer Veronica Ferreiro, known for her mix of Galician, Spanish and English, and African-French artist Cecile Verny appear. The French-Algerian singer and cellist also becomes Nesrine showcasing their talent as the innovative saxophonist Emile Parisien knows how to convince with his art of improvisation.
Highlight performances
The Italian bandoneon player will be another eye-catcher Daniele di Bonaventura, who will live out his passion for tango and Mediterranean melodies. The Swiss Nik Bärtsch brings a special touch to the game with his “Ritual Groove Music”.
The prologue concerts in the Kurhaus Harschberg are already on September 6th at 8 p.m. with the Peter Hedrich Quintet feat. Ernie Hammes, followed by David Helbock & Julia Hofer on September 7th at 6 p.m. The audience is treated to culinary delights with an oriental buffet from Saarkult e.V. in the Saalbau St. Wendel.

If you want to be there, you can get your tickets on the festival website wndjazz.de Order or reserve at the box office. A look at the program shows that the first artists will be performing on September 12th at 8 p.m. with the Verónica Ferreiro Quintet and the Emile Parisien Quartet. These are on September 13th Cecile Verny Quartet and the Daniele di Bonaventura Band’Union on the agenda. The finale will be the artist Kesrine on September 14th at 6 p.m., followed by Nik Bärtsch's Ronin.
