In a dramatic commitment of the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office, four men aged 29 to 47 were arrested on October 14, 2024 in Maxhütte-Haidhof. This happened after a search in Contwig, where Pirmasens' drug investigators had previously grabbed a 22-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man. In their apartment, the investigators found over four kilograms of crystal meth and dangerous firearms, including a fully automatic war weapon from the Scorpion brand and several hundred shot ammunition - a dangerous arsenal!

The street sales value of the confiscated drugs is over 300,000 euros. All suspects were identified as part of a joint group that specializes in the trade in weapons and drugs. In addition, the police ensured a safe that was stolen during a break -in into a family home in Marktheidenfeld. Now all six suspects are in custody and are waiting for the indictment of the Amberg/Bavaria public prosecutor.
