Young drivers on scooters flee from police - arrest in Hildesheim!

The Hildesheim motorway police were alerted on Thursday evening: a scooter without a license plate was on the BAB 39 towards BAB 7, occupied with two young people. The officials viewed the duo near the Hildesheimer Börde and asked them to leave the highway. However, the driver, a 15-year-old, refused and turned the scooter to continue in the opposite direction. The chaotic escape led him over the sidewalk to a residential area, where the scooter was finally left in the bushes.

The two young people continued their escape on foot and crossed different streets over a kilometer. Thanks to attentive witnesses, the officials were able to arrest the 14 and 15 year old fleeting in the Eckerweg Street. Fortunately, the situation on the highway remained without serious consequences, which may be due to the consideration of other road users.
