Semition session in Oberkochen: A colorful evening full of highlights!
On February 26, 2025, the traditional splendor meeting of the fool's guild Oberkochener Schlagga-Wäscher took place in the Schwörzhalle in Oberkochen. Organized by the newly elected board, to which President Daniel Kilast, guild master Holm Roscher, treasurer Markus Wingert and secretary Lisa Vöhringer, belonged to the hall into a colorful "Narrhalla". Many delegations of friends of the fool and numerous guests of honor were present, even if Mayor Peter Traub was apologized.
The event began with the festive invasion of all active people, followed by the enthusiastic "Schlagg Hoi". Moderated by session president Uwe Paap, the program lasted four hours and offered a diverse stage program. The highlights were the appearances of the show dance groups Crazy Kids, Diamond Dancer, Dance Nation and Los Mosquitos as well as the garde groups such as dwarf guard, kindergarte, youth guard and blue speedsters. Other attractions included the men's ballet and the singing Elferrat.

In humorous handmade speeches, Franz and Ursula Uhl from Röhlingen also performed. A special honor went to Thomas Stadler, who was awarded the silver BDK medal for his 44-year membership. Ceremonial master Gisela Neubauer provided a smooth process during the event, supported by a technology team that was responsible for sound, light and stage technology.
The splendor meeting was enriched by the insoles of the fanfare train of the Bärafanger from Unterkochen and the appearance of Mona Haas and Amelie Peters, who debuted as "Napo 2.0". The latter humorously addressed the challenges of the Elferrat. In addition, Sabrina Fendler and Rebecca Schieszl received the "Golden Guard Order", which is considered the highest dance order of the State Association of Württemberg Carnival Associations.
children's carnival and other events
The celebrations continued with a sold -out children's carnival on the following day, organized by Lena Neubauer and with over 300 guests. The program included appearances from all children's and youth groups, dance marios and the Heidenheimer Majorettes. A popular activity for the little guests was the Mohrenkopf shooting.
Further events are already planned for the coming days: On March 2 at 6:30 p.m., a festive ceremonial meeting with Mayor Peter Traub will take place. On March 3. at 2:30 p.m., the 2nd children's carnival will follow in the Schwörzhalle. Remaining tickets are available from Kaufmann living & sleeping in Oberkochen or on site, depending on availability.
The carnival, a time of celebration and exuberance, captivates millions of people every year. As InfoPursuits.com reports, the highlights of the carnival period are among other things women's fastnacht, Rose Monday and Veilchendienstag, which the "hot phase" of the celebrations. In many regions of Germany, including Cologne and Düsseldorf, people enjoy traditional moves and exuberant parties.
