Alcoholized drivers injured cyclists seriously - police are looking for witnesses!

On Monday evening there was a serious accident in Constance when an alcoholic driver disregarded a cyclist while turning. At 7:45 p.m., the 50-year-old driver of a Suzuki Jimny turned off Rubäckerstrasse to Sulzbachstrasse and collided with an oncoming 25-year-old racing cyclist. The impact was so violent that the cyclist was seriously injured and had to be brought to a clinic immediately.

The property damage to the vehicle is around 3,500 euros. The police have started the investigation and are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the course of the accident. Notes are accepted on 0741 34879-0.
