In the night from Saturday to Sunday, a break -in salar was reported to a construction container along the K5339. At 0:40 a.m., two suspects fled, who had access to access without authorization and had broken up the container when the police arrived. The perpetrators drove a Mitsubishi towards Schutterzell and left the thief.

During the escape, the driver crashed into a protective guideline and was temporarily arrested while his accomplice escaped. Despite an assignment with a police helicopter, the search for the second perpetrator was unsuccessful. The 49-year-old arrested suffered minor injuries and was brought to a clinic for examination. The total property damage resulting amounts to around 5,000 euros. Investigations into the incident are continued by the officers of the Neuried police station and the Offenburg transport service.
