Future day at the federal police: 25 young people experience police calls!

Magdeburg, Deutschland - On April 3, 2025, the Federal Police Inspection Magdeburg opened its door for 25 young people between the ages of 14 and 17 at this year's Future Day. The young participants were welcomed at the main train station and experienced an exciting day full of action and information about the profession of the federal police officer. After a brief introduction to the tasks of the federal police, the teenagers were able to demonstrate their skills in a sweaty police training and in a demanding course.

While they were putting on the police protection equipment, the young people were made aware of topics such as railway current, pickpocketing and the dangers of rail systems. An insight into the training and study opportunities as well as an exciting introduction to the criminal work at a fictitious crime scene were further highlights of the day. The farewell took place with a award ceremony for the best participants in the course, and everyone received information material about the settings requirements and small gifts. Overwhelmed by the impressions, the young people were adopted by the police with positive feedback - who knows, maybe some of them will be part of the federal police in the future!
