Love couples on the run: Police summarize repeated thieves!

A young couple consisting of a 22-year-old woman and her 20-year-old friend, was arrested by the federal police on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025. With routine control, it turned out that several arrest warrants presented against both. The woman had been convicted of theft and had not paid a fine of 150 euros and a replacement sentence of ten days. A year later she was convicted again for theft, for which the Potsdam public prosecutor's office issued an arrest warrant in February this year.

The friend, also a criminal record due to joint theft with weapons, also ignored the imposed punishments. After her arrest, the woman was released from the police station by paying her mother a total of 1260 euros. Her friend, on the other hand, stayed in police custody and was shown to a judge on Friday afternoon who confirmed the arrest warrant. He was then moved to a correctional facility.
