Tragic accident in the Mörfelden train station: Mann dies after Zug Collision!

On Friday evening, April 11th, a tragic accident occurred at Mörfelden station. At around 8:45 p.m., a 23-year-old man from the Groß-Gerau district was hit by a freight train, while he was in the immediate vicinity of the edge of the platform. Despite immediate rescue measures, the young man died at the scene of the accident, while his 21-year-old companion suffered a heavy shock and was looked after on site.

The criminal police in Darmstadt has started the investigation into the cause of death, but is currently assuming a terrible accident. This incident led to the temporary decommissioning of train traffic at Mörfelden train station, which could only be released at 10:40 p.m.
