A BMW from the Lahn-Dill district caused excitement at the Federal Real Center at the motorway rest area at the Neisse in Görlitz on Tuesday morning. During a routine control, the driver and his passenger handed over their Bulgarian ID cards, but then there was a shocking moment: the driver's license was a totally fake Greek document!

The police did not allow themselves to be blinded by the deception and immediately took measures. The vehicle, approved for a 39-year-old Bulgarian, was stopped. The Autobahn police station Bautzen has now started the investigation - there is a suspicion of driving without a valid driving license against the driver.
