Federal police grabs criminals in pomelles: fine saves freedom!
In a dramatic incident in pomelles, two men were arrested yesterday who violated the German legal framework. First federal police officers checked a 28-year-old Poland who was traveling in a car as a passenger. He was searched for by the Chemnitz public prosecutor's office for insulting and had to pay a total of EUR 808.70 to escape an 18-day compensation sentence and continue his trip.
This morning a 32-year-old Ukrainian was targeted by the officials. He was also not without worries, since the Neubrandenburg public prosecutor's office determined against him for tax evasion. In order to avert a 12-day compensation sentence, he quickly paid the required fine of EUR 1,339.50. By paying the punishments, both men prevented their freedom from being subject to further restrictions.
