Ebersbrunn, Deutschland - Today, on April 18, 2025, a serious accident occurred on Autobahn 72 near Zwickau. According to the reports from FAZ , a 47-year-old driver who came off the road for unexplained reasons so far. Her vehicle crashed into the protection out and came to a standstill on a meadow. In the accident, her 41-year-old passenger was seriously injured.

The police reacted immediately and blocked the highway towards Chemnitz. This full closure lasted until the morning while the emergency services were on site. A crane had to be requested to rescue the vehicle. The estimated property damage amounts to around 35,000 euros.
