Large deployment in Dresden: Recycling company is on fire!

In the early morning of May 23, 2025, at 05:21, a devastating fire broke out in a recycling company at Luga Graben in Großzschachwitz. The fire brigade Dresden is on site with a large contingent to combat the flames, the massive smoke development has already led to significant visual impairments.

The emergency services call up the residents within a radius of 1,000 meters, to close windows and doors and to cut ventilation and air conditioning systems in order to minimize the health risks from the smoke. An end to the extinguishing work is not yet in sight.
