Strike in Dresden daycare centers: Parents have to reschedule on Thursday!

Dresden, Deutschland - On March 6th and 7th, 2025, Dresden is facing far -reaching warning strikes in the public service. Employees, especially from the areas of city cleaning as well as municipal daycare centers and after -school care, call for this protest. • More daycare centers and Horte will also be affected by limited opening times or closures.

• Kita Bautzener Landstraße 92: Only emergency care from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• More daycare centers and Horte with similar restrictions.

The final list of the institutions concerned is published on the respective strike day on the Website of the city of Dresden . In addition, an emergency care is offered for children.

These warning strikes are part of nationwide protests announced by ver.di to draw attention to the negotiations for better working conditions and appropriate wages in the public service, as well as SPIEGEL .
