Waldheim can look forward to building the new prison garage at the foot of the Meinersberg mountain. The old garage, which regularly causes traffic chaos, is demolished and creates space in front of the city's recycling center. But unfortunately there is a problem that is heavily burdened by the residents: the construction camps on Döbelner Straße.

The construction lamp should only be in operation if it is actually worked on the construction site. In any case, DAZ reporter Dirk Wurzel demands this in his comment. The burden of the traffic lights is a nuisance for the residents because it is unnecessarily slowing down the traffic and leads to traffic jams, although there are no work.

Flexible use of the traffic light could make it easier. If it is only switched on when working on the construction, the waiting times that caused the congestion could be reduced. This would improve the flow of traffic and relieve the residents.

It remains to be hoped that the Free State and the district recognize this problem and act accordingly. Because in the end it would be in the interest of everyone that the construction lights on Döbelner Straße in Waldheim do not unnecessarily hinder traffic.
