On Friday, September 29, there was a fight in Schmölln around 6 p.m. in which a party was injured. At the station place at a bank branch, there was an assault between five male adolescents aged around 16-18 years and a 62-year newspaper deliverer. The police do not say why the situation escalated.

The injured party was pushed to the ground during the argument and beaten. The 62-year-old suffered injuries. In addition, the perpetrators knocked over the trolley with the newspapers and scattered them at the scene of the crime. The group then moved towards the train station.
