"In March it literally blown away the roof," recalls Hubert Wolf, CEO of Bluechip Computer AG, of the beginnings of the crisis. What is meant is not the new extension at the company's headquarters in Meuselwitz, which was only completed in late summer last year. At Bluechip Computer, everything that had to do with mobile work was asked. Laptops, monitors, webcams, docking stations, mice and keyboards were sold in large quantities. In one day, even 400 notebooks were sold, while only about 60 pieces are usually discontinued. So the demand was enormous.

Thanks to the increased demand, Bluechip Computer AG has so far been able to record stable sales development. In the middle of the economic challenges that pandemic brings with it, this is a positive development. The company also sees optimistic into the world for the future: "Pandemy has shown how important a functioning IT infrastructure is, and awareness of it has increased. We want to continue to build on that," says Hubert Wolf.

The Corona crisis has severe financial consequences for many companies. Bluechip Computer AG, on the other hand, was able to benefit from the increased demand for technology for the home office. In times when mobile work is becoming increasingly important, the company is well positioned and looks confidently into the future.
