Thanks to the volunteers: support for families in need
commitment and appreciation for volunteers
In the heart of Leipzig, a star trip for volunteering recently took place in order to celebrate the commitment and appreciation for volunteers. All year round, these passionate helpers contribute to the fact that houses and oases become retreats where families can recharge their batteries. Many thanks go to everyone for their tireless efforts.
Adrian Köstler, board member of the initiative, honored long-time companions at this event, including fourteen volunteers for their 15th anniversary, three volunteers for 20 years of commitment and a lady who has been volunteering in Ronald McDonald Haus for 25 years. Your continuous support creates an atmosphere of trust and security for families in need.
The final presentation was led by Prof. Mario Rüdiger, a respected expert in the field of neonatology and pediatric intensive care medicine. He gave an insight into the current developments in the clinic landscape and emphasized the important role of the volunteers in supporting families in difficult situations.
The McDonald’s Kinderhilfung has been committed to the well -being of children in Germany since 1987. With 23 Ronald McDonald Houses near children's clinics and 6 Ronald McDonald Oasen, the Family Families offers families with serious people with a place of refuge and support. Every year, around 15,000 families can stay in the parents' houses and oases to be close to their sick children, because the support of the family is invaluable.
