Cavertitz. Cavertitzer Elektromontagen GmbH is like most companies: If you are looking for experts, you have to train yourself. So far, the Cavertitzers have succeeded quite well, also because the way to vocational school in Riesa is a stone's throw. But now the apprentices should go to Leipzig and need a lot of time. An applicant has therefore already jumped off and the company fears that the regulation deteres further.

The concern is not unfounded. School leavers have a lot of choice today and will consider twice whether they want to sit on the train for hours to get home to vocational school and back home. After all, there is always an alternative that is easier to reach. The rigid regulation in particular is burdening training companies in the country, the employees of which have to accept further ways.

Here is urgently necessary: If there is an offer in the immediate vicinity, it is simply not understandable that it is insisted on driving to the much further away. This is important with a view to the shortage of skilled workers, but also cheaper and more ecological.
