If you want to get into beekeeping, you often start from zero. There are numerous beekeeping associations around Leipzig who put newcomers to the side and provide help. Here is the list of clubs.

If you want to become a beekeeper yourself, you should look for a beekeeping club nearby and imagine there. In most clubs, the new beekeeper provides a godfather to the side who advises on questions about bees and provides help. Entry to a beekeeping association is not absolutely necessary, but advisable. However, it is necessary to report the bee colonies at the Saxon animal disease fund.
