Little dogs discovered in a sports bag
Cologne. Customs officers discovered two small dogs in a sports bag at Cologne / Bonn Airport. Last Wednesday, a 24-year-old tried to smuggle the dwarf tip from Turkey. As the main customs office announced on Tuesday, the woman passed the outcome for goods for which no registration was required, and was stopped and checked by customs officials.
"After travelers had already put their luggage on the conveyor belt of our X-ray system, a colleague noticed that something was moving in a sports bag," reported a spokesman for the main customs office. "When opening the hiding place, two dwarf tips came out."
The woman said she bought the dogs in Turkey for 3300 euros. A criminal tax procedure was initiated against them. In addition to the import duties for the animals of almost 630 euros, she had to deposit a deposit of 700 euros for the pending process. She could take the two dogs with them.
