The Oschatzer lawyer and long -time local politician Albert Pfeilsticker (71) has taken on a new task. He was elected to the state board of the Evangelical Working Group (EAK) of the CDU Saxony. He will work as an assessor. The election took place on June 23.

Pfeilsticker expressed his joy about this task and emphasized that developments in the church are very exciting for him. He made an interesting comparison between the Erzgebirge region and Oschatz or the north Saxon region. In the Erzgebirge region, the cohesion of the Protestant Christians is significantly stronger, as many people are still baptized in the church or marry in church. In Oschatz and the northern Saxon region, on the other hand, older people in particular are a member of the church and the number of members are declining.

The admission of Albert Pfeilsticker to the state board of the Evangelical Working Group Saxony shows the appreciation and trust that he enjoys in the church community. With his many years of experience and political knowledge, he will certainly be a valuable addition to the board.

The Evangelical Working Group is committed to representing Christian values and principles in politics within the CDU. The members of the working group have the opportunity to bring their Christian beliefs into political work and thus strengthen the Christian profile of the CDU.

With his new task on the state board of the Evangelical Working Group Saxony, Albert Pfeilsticker will contribute to the further development and design of the church. It remains exciting which projects and topics he will tackle the working group in the future.
