Program strengthens Petersberg for business location with new Wellappappformatwerk
Programoup AG recently put its new Wellappappformatwerk into operation in Petersberg and thus strengthens its influence on the market. The state-of-the-art production facility near Pirmasens creates a total of 60 new jobs and training positions, which has a positive effect on the local community.
This new work marks another milestone for Program and underlines its commitment to the Pfalz region. Maximilian Heindl, CEO of Progoup, emphasizes the importance of this work for the company and the positive development of the Petersberg business location.
technology leadership and sustainability
The work PW15 in Petersberg again shows the leading role of Program in relation to technology and innovation. With state -of -the -art systems, the plant can produce up to 200,000 tons of Wellpappformats per year, and the production speed is 400 meters per minute.
Special attention is paid to energy efficiency. The entire electricity requirement of the work is covered by two combined heat and power plants and a photovoltaic system. This not only contributes to reducing the consumption of fossil fuels, but also enables the hall to be heated in winter and cool in summer.
success model packaging park
In Petersberg,Progroup relies on the proven success model of a packaging park, in which the work PW15 works closely with the production site of the long -standing customer G&G Preißer. This close cooperation enables an efficient replacement of corrugated cardboard stacks directly into the packaging production of Preißer, which means savings for both companies and for the environment.
