Serious accident on the B181 near Leipzig: Four injured after collision

In a traffic accident on federal road 181 west of Leipzig, a total of four people were injured, two of them seriously. The accident occurred in a left turn between Rückmarsdorf and Dölzig. A 68-year-old got into oncoming traffic and collided with the oncoming car of a 19-year-old. This overturned the young driver's car. The vehicle of the 68-year-old then crashed into another car of a 56-year-old and stopped on the road.
The 19-year-old driver and her 20-year-old passenger were slightly injured. The 68-year-old and the 56-year-old, on the other hand, suffered serious injuries. All four people were taken to the hospital. Due to the severity of the accident, a rescue helicopter was also used.
Because of the accident, the B181 between Rückmarsdorf and Dölzig had to be completely blocked until the evening. The traffic accident service has started the investigation and checks the circumstances of the accident and possible negligent bodily harm.
