Berlin is currently the pioneer at home. The Senate Ministry of Health assumes that all vaccinations in the care facilities will be ready in early February. At the end of January, more than 80 percent of the residents had received the first vaccination, and almost half had already received the second dose.

Bremen wants the vaccinations in the nursing homes in the second week of February. Some other federal states, including Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, expect the vaccinations in mid-February.

The vaccination is much slower in Brandenburg. Due to the lack of vaccines, some appointments had to be postponed, according to the Ministry of Health, many first vaccinations can only take place from February 22nd.
