S2 at Wiesenaa is free again after construction work

Wiesenena. State road 2 in and north of Wiesena has been free again since Friday afternoon. This was announced by the State Office for Road Construction and Traffic.

On August 28, the construction work for roadway renewal started. On the one hand, the asphalt layer was renewed, and a widening of the state road to six meters was also realized. The partially required roadwoods and curvature improvements were made within the existing street property.

The construction costs amount to around one million euros. They are financed by the Free State of Saxony with tax funds based on the budget decided by the MPs of the Saxon state parliament.
